Founded in 2010, Parapharma Tech aimed to offer a healthier alternative to cereal-based thickeners for infants with reflux. Collaborating with Dr. Enrique Hernandez, they developed Gelmix, a USDA Organic thickener using carob bean gum, which avoids the problems of cereal thickeners. Recognized by NASPGHAN and ESPGHAN in 2018 as suitable for infants, Gelmix set a new standard in pediatric care. In 2018, they introduced Purathick, another USDA Organic thickener for beverages, catering to both adults and children over 1 year old. Parapharma Tech continues to focus on creating healthful organic products for all ages.
